Our Web Design process
We have different kinds of clients, while some may know a web design process, others may not. It is important that both parties are on the same page at this stage. Below is our design process.
• Needs and Goals Need to be Established: We need to know information about your company, services offered, audience, purpose, site goals, and any other valid information. Please fill out the form located on the contact page and we will discuss the information with you.
• Proposals, & Estimates: Once we receive your information we can provide you with a soft proposal (basic outline of what needs to be done with your current site or to design and develop a new web site), included is an estimated price. Once the soft proposal is agreed upon and you have read the terms and conditions on our web site, we will send you a contract with all the appropriate information that requires a signature. The proposal estimate is evaluated by considering the time it will take to do the entire project. Please give up to one day to receive your proposal, the complexity of the project will be analyzed appropriately. Once an estimate is delivered all add-on services and work, redesign on any level not covered, and "after thoughts" are considered additional work and will be billed accordingly. This quote will be valid for 30 days.
• Once We Have an Agreement We Can Get Started: You agree, Rouge-Gorge Graphics agrees, that all required paperwork is signed, handed to us, or faxed over. We can start the design process at this point. If you do not understand any small or big points PLEASE ASK FOR CLARIFICATION! Any false expectations and miscommunication hold us back in the design process. Contact Rouge-Gorge Graphics with any questions or concerns about your current project.
• Materials: In order to get started we need any print materials, text or copy, brochures, logo files, products, pictures, and/or appropriate information that you want added to the web site. We need Everything you want included on the web site, the sooner we receive the materials the better for both parties.
• Custom Web Site Design Mockup: Once we have some site design options for you we will present them to you. At this time we need your feedback to fully understand your exact directions of interest. Any comments and ideas are welcome.
• Site Architecture & Navigation: The setup and navigation of your web site is very important for your audience to have a polished user experience. In the design phase we need to establish where the navigation should be placed to figure out the design layout.
• Choosing a Web Site Design : After we get your feedback and comments on the mockup designs the approved concept will be put together. At this time the navigation and design setup should be selected and agreed upon.
• Development Process: Once a design layout is agreed upon we will build the home page, once this is approved we will continue. Any flash, forms, etc will be added during this process. If you requested your web site be optimized for search engine submission, this will be applied now.
• Web Site Completion & Debugging: Once your site has been designed and developed we check that it is cross browser, cross platform compatible.
• Once the web site is finalized and all contract terms have been met the site will be live for everyone to see.
• If Search Engine Submission was purchased as an add-on, it will be done at this time.
